Aloe pluridens

Aloe pluridens - A spectacular aloe with gracefully recurved leaves in large spiralled rosettes, either single-stemmed or branched or occasionally bearing numerous small plantlets on the otherwise smooth stems. Occurs mainly along the Sunshine Coast area, associated with dense thicket vegetation. It is a tall aloe (5-6m high) and flowers May - July, colour orange to pinky-red but a yellow form also occurs. Does not tolerate frost but does tolerate semi-shade.
