Aloe striata subs. striata - A very showy, stemless aloe (one of three subspecies) with blue green leaves. It lacks spines. Attractive coral red flowers are borne during winter, on tall flat-topped inflorescences. Prefers stony soils on rocky hillsides in arid areas near the coast. Withstands extreme drought and frost. Prefers full sun.
