Calpurnea aurea - A graceful, slender shrub or small tree, suitable for small gardens, but may sometimes reach a height of 15m. Gracefully drooping, fresh light green leaves. Beautiful, yellow pea-shaped flowers in long sprays appear in summer. Attracts birds & bees. Flowers when young. Not frost-resistant. Plant in a sunny spot and protect young plants from frost. Responds well to regular pruning and feeding. Can be pruned to form a lollipop or standard. Insect resistant.
