Canthium inerme

Canthium inerme - A coastal shrub or small tree with glossy foliage, branches are armed with spines. It reaches a height of about 5-10m. Small greenish flowers appear in spring, leaves hairless dark green. It attracts birds, especially Loeries, and tolerates slight. Prune out lower branches to form a tree. Very adaptable and drought resistant, however it thrives if fed and watered regularly.
