Olea woodiana - Medium to tall tree to 17m (25m in ideal conditions). Occurs in lower altitude forest. Stem tall & straight, fluted, coppices freely. Bark smooth, fissured, whitish-grey. Flowers small, white. In loose axillary or terminal inflorescenses (Oct-Jan). Fruit purple-black, oval, base asymetric, pointed, to 13mm, skin leathery, flesh thin. Individual trees fruit infrequently (Jan-Apr). Attracts birds. Good container plant.
